Located in one of Portugal’s most important wine regions, the “Dão” in central Portugal, the Comissão Vitinicola Regional do Dão (the official commission for the Dão wine region) commissioned Essentia to carry out a study for the product definition and management model to be applied to the Dão Wine Route. The goal was to promote regional wines and help develop local tourism by creating a product that targeted the Gastronomy and Wine sector. The project was launched in 2015 and is still under way.
